Oasis 21 & TV tower

Contour lines and backgrounds are based on photo 1.
The color of the disc, etc. is based on photo 2
I made a design drawing based on the design.
With using traditional techniques, we then
made the woodcut.

The TV tower was the first integrated radio tower in Japan in Nagoya Sakae in 1953, and has long been a symbol of Nagoya. In 2002, near the southwest of the TV tower, Oasis 21 opened as a complex with public facilities such as bus terminals and parks and commercial facilities, and the scenery and lighting created by these facilities will become a new landmark in Nagoya and globally. It is also attracting attention. Although small in size, the oasis 21 and the steel frame of the TV tower are faithfully reproduced in traditional woodcuts from the details.
